Cranberry township seneca pa10/28/2023 ![]() William CRAIG was the first permanent settler and built the second house in the village. Salem City / Seneca - Nicholas LAKE built the first house upon the site of this village and after a few years moved to Clarion Co., PA then to Ohio and after to Mercer Co. ![]() BARR and JONES & MOHNEY were among the first merchants. South of the pike was land owned by James BRANDON who laid out lots in 1865. MILROY, a blacksmith who later laid out the lots for the village and probably gave the place its name abt.
